Meet your dentist
Dr. Alina True: Blending creativity, connection, and care
Dr. Alina True believes that dentistry goes beyond treating teeth; it’s about caring for the person behind the smile. Originally from Arizona, Dr. True also lived in Kansas and Utah before attending Santa Clara University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts with a Dance emphasis. Her unique educational background reflects her dedication to combining artistic creativity with scientific precision.
Inspired to pursue dentistry during a medical mission trip, Dr. True was drawn to the fast-paced, creative nature of the field. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific and completed a General Practice Residency at VA Sepulveda, where she gained advanced training. She is also a Kois Graduate and continues to expand her expertise through continuing education at leading institutions such as LVI and imP.R.E.S Esthetic Courses.
Dr. True is passionate about building meaningful connections with her patients. Her approach integrates whole-body wellness, educating patients on the link between oral health and overall well-being. She enjoys collaborating with patients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their health goals, whether it’s overcoming dental anxiety, enhancing aesthetics, or focusing on preventive care.
Outside the office, Dr. True enjoys dancing, baking custom royal icing cookies, and spending time with her family, including her two young sons and their husky-malamute mix, Ghosty Boy. She thrives on creating a balance between her artistic passions, personal life, and dental career; all of which shape the care she provides at True Dental Studio.
